Bonded ADSL

"Bonding" as its known, is the ability to combine multiple Internet connections, usually of same type and speed, as if they were a single connection.

Together with the Q-Balancer product, Spider Communications can provide businesses with the ability to consume a high-bandwidth yet cost-effective alternative to Leased Lines or SDSL.

The technology involves installing a high capacity Q-Balancer in the end user location. The unit is then configured appropriately to route packet data down each of the physical links. On reaching the ISP network, traffic is then routed on to the Internet backbone or to other locations within the ISP network. To the customer they have a single virtual link with public IP addressing which can be connected in-turn to their corporate firewall.

By utilising 4 ADSL Max lines end users can achieve speeds of upto 32Mb/s down stream and 3.3Mb/s up stream.
